The pre-facelift S6/S7/S8 4.0TT software does not have a factory BBSOTUN module.

A patch was created to allow this behaviour. The charisma setting is monitored on CAN and the ignition and overrun delay is switched based on it. A demonstration can be seen here:

The project contains a CSV with two maps:
1) Ignition target during sound tuning, set to -30 by default. If you have an aftermarket exhaust then try -15 as a starting point.
2) KFTVSAGNG2. You can use this map to change the duration of the of the exhaust pops based on selected gear and Engine RPM. It is set to 1.0 until 6th gear as a starting point. In higher gears at high RPM you will not hear it anyway, due to wind noise, so does not make much sense.

When charisma setting is set to "Dynamic" (or gearbox in S), KFTVSAGNG is switched to KFTVSAGNG2 and zwspae is set to the ignition target.

The patch works for any software based on D1711A05C000_MY13B6_060, including Audi S8 4H0907557 0010.
